On the second day we had already seen horses, and now only a couple of miles away from where we had seen them we had to wait again because a bunch of cows were walking up the road!

Nick thought that we should keep to one side and just push past the cows but our ‘animal man’ James Ramsey advised us not to. Fortunately James did not talk to these animals! After the farmer and his cows had gone in to a field we continued on down the road. That, thank goodness, was the lot of animals that would delay us.
