On the envelopes we decided to type the addresses and add the CSC Cycling Coasters team badge to the top left hand corner. On local envelopes, we stuck two 10p 1983 Stamps of The Great Laxey Wheel. These stamps were made from the original drawings of Robert Casement, the designer of Laxey Wheel. We felt these were very appropriate as our project was mining. We also put a 2p 1973 stamp of the Wheel on. On the ‘off island’ invitations we placed a 20½p stamp of the Laxey Wheel and Robert Casement, we then stuck on a 5½p stamp of the horse trams.
