We had to plan our equipment very carefully. As panniers are quite small we could not put very much in them. The Team equipment had to be shared out between each of us, along with our own kit. We shared out all the team equipment as fairly as possible. We decided to take two dome tents and two trangias with us. This worked very effectively - two people to a tent and two to a trangia. We had to keep the trangias very clean, especially as one of them belonged to Mike! We also had to carry Meths. to cook with - that meant we had to make sure that the fuel container was secure because ‘Methylated Toast’ is not too good for you!
